It’s been 55 years since we have been honored with the iconic Ford Mustang and Ford are continually working toward refining and fine-tuning the sprinting steed. The Ford Mustang has been an honest representation of the American spirit since 1964; free, fast, and ever-evolving. Presently, with the rise of electric vehicles, Ford Motor Company has created an all- American, all-electric sports car the Mustang Mach E.
The latest car news is that this new electric SUV the Ford Mustang Mach E will come in two different variants. The Ford Mustang Mach E GT and the Mustang Mach E GT Performance Edition will both sprint from 0-100 km/hin around 3.5 seconds with 342kWof power. Both of these versions will possess a standard or optional extended-battery range in either AWD or RWD. If the owner decided to equip the speeding steed with the extended-range battery and RWD, the estimated range will be at least 450km. Ford also announced with its latest car news that the electric Mustang Mach E range will all charge 30% faster than what was announced originally.
The Ford Mustang Mach E will come with three different modes- Whisper, Engage, and Unbridled and each of these modes offer a unique driving experience. Furthermore, Ford fine-tuned its AWD system to ensure it provides the driver with exceptional traction on the roads during slippery, snowy, or rainy conditions. On the outside, the Mustang Mach E is sleek, lush, and most definitely represents a sports car. It retains a shape rarely seen in SUVs and has the Mustang’s signature essentials such as sharp, aggressive headlights and a long, commanding hood. Despite its athletic appearance on the outside, it owns an SUV atmosphere on the inside; spacious enough for five passengers and extra cargo.
As for the interior of the Ford Mustang Mach E, modern technology has been implemented to make sure the driver is equipped with a wonderful entertainment system. A generous 15.5-inch screen is included with easy to understand menus and operates similar to touch phones. The interface quickly learns who is driving it and memorizes their preferences and thanks to ‘over-the-air updates’, it is constantly being fed new information to make driving, vehicle responsiveness, and entertainment better.
What makes the Ford Mustang Mach E even more remarkable are the little details that have been added to the sports car. For example, the fixed-glass panoramic roof is coated with infrared protection to prevent overheating in the summer and staying warmer in the winter. It even helps protect against the sun’s harmful UV rays. Additionally, your usual key fobis too old school for this smooth ride. Instead, Ford has incorporated an effortless Phone as a Key technology in which the vehicle will unlock when Bluetooth senses the driver is close, so they never need to take out their phone (perfect for the “I won’t be making two trips” people)!
The Ford Mustang Mach E is said to be available in late 2020and the Mustang Mach E GT will be ready in the spring of 2021. What To Ride can’t wait to take this beauty for a spin!
