The Grand Tourer Aston Martin DB5 was designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera who created this iconic British sport luxury car. The Aston Martin DB5 was released in 1963 which was considered as an evolutionary sport car.

To promote the film, the two  Aston Martin DB5s were showcased at the 1964 New York World's Fair, and it was named "the most famous car in the world", and subsequently sales of the Aston Martin rose. In 2019 at the world’s biggest classic car auction in California, the actual Aston Martin DB5 used to promote James Bond film was recently reported through the latest car news that it was auctioned for $6.4 million.
