THE ALL NEW MAZDA BT-50 UTE PRICING AND SPECS
Mazda Australia has revealed today through the latest car news the pricing and specs for the modern new look Mazda Ute! The new Mazda BT-50 will be available in Australia by the end of the year and it is looking promising. Mazda released its new Ute with a list of innovative car features and sleek styling with high off road capabilities. It has shifted away from using the same platform as the Ford Ranger in the current model to imitating the new Isuzu D-MAX on which it’s based on. Mazda has guaranteed that the bold new BT-50 will provide a new level of comfort and capability and sets a new benchmark for future new Utes.
Mazda BT-50 Engine and Power:
The all new Mazda BT-50 will not only use the Isuzu D-MAX Platform but also its powertrain. Although the current Mazda BT-50 engine is the same as the Ford Ranger; a 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbo diesel producing 147kW, the new Mazda BT-50 model will have the smaller Isuzu D-Max engine; a 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel providing 140kW of power paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Even though the new Mazda BT-50 will produce less power, it will still preserve its 3,500kg towing capacity and 1,000kg payload in the back of this new Ute.
When it comes to fuel economy, it depends either this new Ute is Manual or Automatic and if the Mazda BT-50 is 4x2 or 4x4. The new Mazda BT-50 consumes 7.7L/100km in the Automatic 4x2 and Manual 4x4 dual cab Ute, whilst the 4x4 dual cab Ute Automatic model consumes 8.0L/100km.
Mazda BT-50 Design:
The all new Mazda BT-50 has used its unique front look and commanding front grille to conform to Mazda’s unique DNA amongst its range. The rear looks bigger and bulkier with low parking lamps. The new LED headlights are standard across the Mazda BT-50 4x4 Dual Cab range. This is a new look for the Mazda Ute giving it a strong, tough appearance.

On top of these car features the new Mazda BT-50 GT has Leather seats with heated front seats and front parking sensors.
Mazda released the pricing for the new BT-50 which will start from $44,090 plus on-road costs up to $59,990 plus on-road costs for the top of the range the Mazda BT-50 GT.
